Our Philosophy
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land.
At Full House Child Care we are committed to providing children with the highest standard of care and education by building secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships with children, families and communities. We perceive each child as confident and involved learners, whose rights are paramount and prioritised.
We are dedicated to providing valuable experiences and invigorating physical environments that build upon each child’s interests and sense of identity with care, empathy, and respect at the forefront of our service’s beliefs.
We understand that to build children up as active and informed learners, requires establishing collaborative partnerships with families, communities, and industry professionals. Thus, community engagement is vital toward building a sense of ‘belonging, being and becoming’ as children navigate and understand the world.
We nurture each child’s sense of wellbeing by guiding children to take responsibility for their own health and physical wellbeing. Our learning spaces are carefully crafted to invite exploration, discovery, risk-taking and open-ended interactions as we empower children to pursue their independent talents, skills, and ideas.
Our dedicated team strives to create and deliver exceptional learning experiences for our children to assist them in gaining independence, competence and learning through child-led play. We believe with high expectations that children can and will achieve if there is an environment that enables them to build confidence and agency in themselves as thinkers and learners.
We value the process of critical reflection in our practices by valuing the different perspectives of our educators and industry professionals in a holistic approach that addresses children’s physical, social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive development.
We understand the everchanging and evolving nature of early education and are always engaging in reflective practice to provide a service that caters to bolster children to become successful learners and creative individuals. We respect the diverse background and culture of each child’s circumstances and abilities and dedicate our learning program to ensuring each child can reach their full potential.
We believe that it is through effective leadership and governance of our service that we can establish a community that shares the same values and sets a clear direction for the service's continuous improvement and dedication to our community.
